# SEF Token

**SEF Token**

SEF is the limited supply governance token for the Segment Finance Protocol.

SEF token holders will be able to participate in governance and shape the future of Segment Finance, as well as determine key parameters for the interest rate model, fee rates, and the distribution of protocol fees and reserves accrued to the Segment Finance Protocol. The total supply of SEF is 100.000.000.

**sSEF Token**

sSEF represents the staked version of SEF. The main goal for [staking](/tokenomics/staking-and-revenue-sharing.md) is to distribute protocol revenue and DEX rewards to SEF stakers.
